Prove to her by just being there for her. Surprise her for Valentine's Day. Leave her sweet notes, letting her know you care about her. Hold her hand. Call her. The little things are what are important.

maybe she was trying to drop you a hint about receiving a val gift - unless she is a lesbian (look for signs)
you dont show her you are not full if **** - its called trust and she can only get this from you over time. be yourself and dont force things.
Why not plan an awesome evening for her? Take her out to a nice, fancy dinner and buy her all the totally traditional things like chocolate and flowers.
well I would just get her some flowers. maybe write her a letter. let her know you are different and that you actually care for her and if she'd give you a chance you wuold like to prove it to her. let her come around on her own though. she may have had a bad experience with men in her past or something. but just get her some flowers or take her out for valentines
well i wish i had some one to give me some thing, surprise her by giving her some thing you know she like or want, also some flowers telling her how your feel and you will always be there for her and to forget who in the world and enjoy valentine day together with a nice bottle of wine. enjoy
get her a gift of your choice and write a note telling her how you feel. like, that even though she thinks all guys are full of crap you're the one that can show her that you're "different" as you say.
dont buy her a gift, make one. this will totally suprise her.
