Plan B question, please help.?!

Question: I had unprotected sex last night, while on my 3rd day of my period. I'm going tomorrow to planned parenthood first thing tomorrow. But my question is...if i can take the pill "plan b", since i know that pill accelerates your period. but since i had it last nite will it still work. I'm so scared. This is my first time having unprotected sex, this was such a stupid move from my part,it's such a shame..and carelessness i know. The only thing that relieves me a bit is that my partner didnt ejaculate inside of me. I'm so scared. Will this pill work for me..or? please help.

This web site will help you. You have a low chance of being pregnant if it's the 3rd day of your period. Also, you have to take the first dose of the drug within 72 hours of having unprotected sex, and there are 2 doses.

While you're at the clinic, maybe you should ask about taking regular birth control pills. (just remember to keep using condoms for disease prevention!)

Stay calm! It will be all right.

If it's the third day of your period, you most likely wouldn't become pregnant. Having said that, emergency contraception will be effective tomorrow, since it will have been less than 48 hours. It's a good idea to try to take Plan B within 72 hours of unprotected sex.

Don't beat yourself up--you realize you made a mistake and now you're resolving it.

Yes, Plan B is effective for up to 72 hours after you have unprotected sex--although its effectiveness gets lower as each day passes.
It will most likely work for you. I've never heard it not working, and a lot of my friends have taken it.
Keep in mind that you might feel very sick after you take it, so allow yourself a day to 'recover.' (Although you might not feel sick...it depends on the person.)

SILLY GIRL,do not worry you should not be pregnant.in future keep off the booze, and the best contraceptive pill is an ASPRIN,place it between your knees and keep it there as long as your BF tries it on.
IT WORKS!!.

If the sex was during your period then pregnancy is unlikely anyway, especially if he pulled out. But you should probably get Plan B too just in case. It will work up to 72 hours after the sex although it's best in the first 24. It will change your cycle somehow, women often get an early period and then a late period, or random bleeding. But chances are you wouldn't have got pregnant anyway and if you would have then there's a very good chance the Plan B will stop it. You might like to get on regular birth control in the future to prevent stuff like this.
