It takes a while for your body to adjust to it because its changing hormone levels- even thinking about it makes me nausious. Be careful and make sure you're still using another form of BC 'til it can truly get into your system and take effect.
Remember that your BC isnt really effective until after about a month or so and if your taking any kind of antibiotic it can make it even less effective. (just FYI)
But yeah- its just getting into your system now so you may feel a little off for the next month or so.

no. just until you get used to birth control.

hm..I would contact your doctor just to make sure everything is ok.

I would check the instructions or ask the doctor who prescribed it to you.

yyeahh i have birth control too

It shouldn't .. it never affected me in any way...
but all people are different, and you're not suppost
to drink when on it...
Your probably feeling this way because you just started it.

Don't forget that vomiting while on birth control pills can decrease it's effectiveness if you vomit relatively soon after taking the pill!

Birth control pills can make you feel sick, but usually this goes away after you've been on them a few weeks! It's not normal for that to keep happening the entire time you're on it.

What time of day or night do you normally take the pills and when do you begin drinking? One should take the pill as close to the same time of day every day if they can manage that. Otherwise you may see that you can resume drinking again with no discomfort in a few days to a few weeks (one or two) after having started the pill.

I learned this from having recently started my own regimen as well, I enjoy my drinks too ;)

To avoid this, I take the pill right before bed no matter what time I plan on sleeping. Be it 2 am or 11 pm. This way nothing may upset my stomach that can be associated with the pill. You may wish to try that as well if you don't already do so.

no, but yes until you are used to the pill you are taking, but taking the pill, drinking and spewing will lower the effectiveness of the pill, so you should probly stop drinking just until your body has adapted to the pill, and you dont feel sick taking it,your body needs time to adjust to it

It's only been a week so that's probably why you're sensitive to alcohol right now. I say maybe wait a week so you're body has time to adjust to the birth control but it may take longer. If after another week you still feel this way talk to your doctor and he/she may be able to prescribe something different.

nah....you'll get used to it..
