Discharge/Cold?!

Question: For just about yesterday and today, I have been noticing abit of this clear, very thin, watery discharge in my underwear. I also have a head cold but I dont know if that contributes to it at all, because I have been sick for the past few days. Is there anything wrong? If so, what should I do?

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. As your vagina is mucus membranes just like your nose, your body is going to do it's best to get all the mucus out of your body, including through your vagina.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

From my experience, it has nothing to do with the cold. I have that type of discharge CONSTANTLY between periods, sometimes heavier than others.

I don't know what causes it though. I heard that eatting yogurt helps to make it go, but It hasn't helped for me.

YOu need to start taking vitamins. YOur lacking a particular vitamins which is cuasing this.
