It's possible she could flush herself out by drinking TONS of water and consuming 100% cranberry juice or capsules. It is unsafe for her to self medicate, but I hope it works or she could end up with an infection that spreads to other areas like her kidneys. If she thinks she got the infection after intercourse, let her know in the future to pee immediately after sex and to drink at least one full glass of water.

Drink a lot of water and cranberry juice.

Go to the pharmacy and get cranberry pills (in the vitamin section). They are a good source of antioxidants, so if anybody asks, just tell them that.

Drink plenty of fluids! Especailly water and cranberry juice. make sure the juice is full cranberry, not cocktail if you can find it.

"If a patient uses cranberry juice for treating UTIs, then it needs to be unsweetened. Cranberry extract tablets have been shown to be even more effective than regular cranberry juice in treating UTIs and can be found at certain drug stores or health stores."

So all those answers are good, but usually cranberry juice will prevent a uti from happening, not kill it once you have one. It may get better if it's very mild, but if not within a day or two, she needs to visit a doctor and get antibiotics. Bladder infections can move up to the kidneys and cause permanent damage if left untreated.
