It will really depend on the type of BC you are on, also your body is still getting used to it. I wouldnt worry because the withdrawal bleed is just that - withdrawal from the hormones in the pills, it takes a few days for your body to realize the hormones arent coming anymore.

there are a few other factors to know, how long after you started the pill did you have the unprotected sex? did you miss any? did you do a sunday start?

Are you feeling crampy or moody?

Whatever you do dont stress now, just wait it out because the stress will prolong it from coming and freak you out more. after day 4 I would just get a pregnancy test but I wouldnt even begin to worry till then, your body is still getting used to it.

You're not going to get your period the first green-pill-day. It usually takes 3-4 days before you see a period on the placebos.

Also, since this is your first month, IF you took the entire pack EXACTLY as you were supposed to, it IS plausible that you might skip a period. If however, you skip your next period as well, then you might want to speak to your doctor.

In the mean time, wait till you start your next pack (and DO start them on time!), and if you've not had a period by then, then take a pregnancy test. This way you'll know one way or another whether or not to contact your doctor.

i think brutally honest has it spot on!

well first you have to wait a whole month on the pill to have unprotected sex. you can have unprotected sex AFTER you period in your first month. you might want to take a test or wait because your body might be trying to adjust to being on the pill.

Your doctor should have told you that it takes at least three months for your birth control pill to work at its full potential. So yes there might be a chance that you are pregnant. Take a home test to be sure.

If you have'nt missed any of your pills, you have nothing to worry about but either wait two weeks after your period is do and if you still don't get your period then take a pregancy test.
