Question: for the last 3 or 4 days when I do a no.2 there's been blood in the toilet! is there something wrong with me?

it may be hemorrhoids, may be an ulcer or a tumor in the bowel..as long as your stool is not black then im pretty sure you just passed a large bm and tore a little tissue or hemorrhoids..black stool usually indicates internal bleeding stomach etc usually in the bowel its the others that i have listed above.go get it checked out, meanwhile taking a sitz bath it can help if it is hemmorrhoids., stay hydrated and make sure you keep the area clean but just to be on the safe side go see a doc asap..like i said it could be an ulcer a tumor..good luck and hun dont let all this scare you it's happened to me and thats only when i get constipated so dont let any of the answers people leave here scare you...just see a doc

if you mean there's blood in your poo, then you should seek medical help. Can be a number of things, haemorrhoid's for one, but to be on safe side consult the professionals.
bright red blood is supposed to be o.k it's when its black blood u shud worry, are u constipated? talk to your doctor if it persists or is alot.

Bleeding from you bum, can be a possible sign of bowel cancer.
It can also be a number of different things, so don't worry, but please go and get checked out so you can be put in the clear
I would first, contact my doctor because you may have torn tissues in your rectum. This is a serious problem. Either you have done that or you constipated. :-)
My husband went to the doc for stomach problems The doc told us if your stool is black then your bleeding inside your tummy and if there is red blood the your bleeding from past the tummy. I would go get it checked out.

the rule of thumb is if blood comes out of an orifice it is not designed to then its cause for concern.

it could be hemroids but I still think you should go to the doctor?
If you are struggling to go could just be a burst blood vessel. If its dark blood then its not good. But see your dr. just in case.
I agree with Sunshine, but would like to add that there are both internal and external hemorrhoids. If you have burning and/or itching, it's probably external hemorrhoids; internal hemorrhoids are usually painless. I once had an internal hemorrhoid burst and I bled from the rear for several hours. I recommend you see a gastroenterologist to figure out what's wrong, and if you start bleeding more or when you are not going to the bathroom, go to the emergency room.
are you constipated or anything? it doesnt sound normal so i think you should speak to a dr and find out what could be causing it. if you have any other symptoms or problems it might be caused by something serious. better to be safe than sorry.
