Why do I get these bumps when I shave "down there"?!

Question: I experemented with shaving off all my pubic hair the other day, and I liked it at first, but now, 2 days later, my whole "area" is covered in painful red bumps. They hurt like hell, even with my softest pair of undies. It felt like it was on fire when i went grocery shopping. Is there anyway to stop this? Why does it happen? Is there a way to prevent it next time?

Yes, thankfully there is. You need to exfoliate the day after or 2 days after you shave down there. You're getting hairs back and they're ingrown hairs (because pubic hair is curly it comes in curly too causing these hairs to more likely become ingrown). Or possibly it's razor burn, just like what you get on your legs. Exfoliaten will help a lot. Also try to keep it soft to apply lotion after shaving, which that should be done after shaving anything except your under arms. When you apply the lotion though be careful to never ever allow anything to get to close or in your "area", keep it away from all openings. Good Luck.

you should wax instead...shaving irrates the skin o and u can get cream 2 relieve the irratation

its just razor burn. try to shave downward instead of upward or even side to side. almost everyone gets it. I personally would never wax either because that hurts a rediclous amount.

Razor burn baby! Happens to us all. Shave downward or side to side. Never shave up. Use shaving cream when shaving next time. Trimming excess hair first also helps and there is also razor burn cream you can get. You can go anywhere to get some. Good luck.

stop shaving down there real men want hair down there
