i wouldnt use them till ur are lil older. i started my period at 13 and used pads they are WAY more safe for you. you may get TSS from tampons. its very rare, but if you are in class for several hours and no able to get to a bathroom to change it then thats bad! id use pads for a few more years.
It doesnt matter weather your a virgin or not!! Tampons dont make you loose your virginity!! But Tampons are great and it makes your period alot claener!! Ask you mom to help you get the right absorbancy for you!! Try playtex sport or Tampax Peral!! they are both great!!!

Do not use any kind of scented tampon, those are so unhealthy for you and can cause infection... Also, plastic tampons are easier to put in compared to the cardboard ones.. Good luck!

Definatly try Platex Sport, all the others are super uncomfortable. Remember there is always a risk. You could get TSS from tampons... USE PADS!!!!!! They are sooooo much better!
