Does Mucinex affect menstruation?!
Question: I know this question sounds crazy, but I've been taking Mucinex for the past week to get over this sickness, and I recently started my menstruation cycle of the month.
I do not know why, but the blood has changed consistancy, and will not be absorbed the sanitary napkin.
Would the medication be affecting this?
Or is there an underlying cause I do not know about?

As for Mucinex affecting periods not that I'm aware of. It's possible an underlying condition could be going on but the only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
