Is it true that use of advil or aleve will slow a heavy period?!

Question: as perscribed by my ob/gyn i am on birth control, to regulate my periods. i think the pill causes a heavier flow, which can lead to leakage, is there any way to slow these periods down?

It's possible. Just remember to stay away from asprin because that actually causes you to bleed even more. What's worse than bleeding more than what you should?? lol

Yes, advil will totally reduce your flow. Use it the first day of your cycle...

Pills cause a lighter shorter flow.

Do not use advil or aleve to slow periods, they will only help with cramps. Do not take any more than what is directed on the bottle/box of advil/aleve.
