hey im in exactly the same boat i started therapy but it wasnt much help. The best thing to do is concentrate on your overall heath remember that your goals are to be healthy and think how proud you will feel a week on, 2 weeks on, a month and so on after not giving in.

if you do slip up dont get depressed bulimia can be powerfully triggered by depression.

plan your day out so you know all the lovely food you are going to eat and keep in you.maybe make oom for some exercise or a walk? and remember never leave it more than 3 hours in between eating.even if its just a cereal bar!after 3 hours concentration levels are weakened and the temptation to binge and therefor purge are greater.if you reguarly eat if you do slip up and binge you physically wont be able to binge on as much so you wont feel as guilty.

woah! long answer hope i helped!

not got much experience in this but all i can think of to say is think positive!!!you've done so well over the last 3 weeks,it would be a shame to undo all the hard work now.each time you think about purging, force yourself to walk past the bathroom into another room.see if you can set yourself a rewards scheme to help you with it. say, for each 10 times you can suppress the urge to do it,you'll buy yourself a new lippy, belt, tee shirt or whatever.this way then after a while you'll be able to see all the things you have amassed by being strong and positive and pro active about the bulimia.start small and build it up .have a separate area of goodies you bought so at moments of weakness or doubt or whatever, you can go and look at them and remind yourself that you CAN do this recovery .

Bulimia is often the result of other medical symptoms such as depression or stress, or low self esteem. how come you have been doing this?
People with bulimia tend to feel guilty and disgusted about food and fat. Even though most people with bulimia begin at normal weights, they think of themselves as fat. Roughly 90 percent of the people with bulimia are women, and the disorder usually begins a few years after puberty. Genetics, social pressures, and emotional problems like depression, low self-esteem, and extreme perfectionism contribute to bulimia
