Question: ok well this is kind of an awkward question but i need to know. well i found like a little lump in my right boob and idk if i should be worried. its like under the skin and its not visible only i can feel it like when i touch it . it doesnt hurt or anything. im kinda too embarassed to talk to my mom about this. should i be worried? my sister is in her 20's and last yr she had surgery b/c she had a lump in her breast and she got it removed but it was not cancerous. could this mean its just a small cyst or maybe just breast tissue? what do i do.

If this lump is something new then you do need to get it checked. It is most likely to just be a cyst but only a doctor can tell for sure. You have to talk to your mother and have her make an appointment with the doctor. Since your sister had a little lump it's likely that you have something very like hers. The longer you leave it the more likely it will grow.
It's great that you noticed this. Every woman should check her breasts regularly, the main thing though is, when you find something you get it taken care of.

The short answer is it could be anything. I have never heard of anyone younger than the 20s having breast cancer. The odds are overwhelmingly in your favor that it is only a benign (not cancerous) cyst. However, to be safe, I would say you should see your doctor. He/she can lend another pair of hands and tell you their professional opinion on whether or not it should be checked out further.

See your gynocologist, Also how long has it been scince your last mammography? It is very important for women young and old alike to recieve such test and check ups annually, breast cancer is very serouis and has taken many. = ) thanks for your time.

breasts can be lumpy and bumpy so it could be a normal thing but you know you want to be sure so tell your mom and make a doc appointment, okay? if it is cancer then the sooner it's taken care of the better off you'll be. One thing you can do is try to find a similiar lump on the other breast. If they're symetrical then I think it's just a normal thing.

Sweetie you need to talk to your mom or your sister about the situation and tell them your thoughts and see what happens it may be embarassing but it could be a health risk if you dont tell someone okay? Hope i helped

Yes! Talk to your mother immediately! This could be a sigh=n of breast cancer. Even if it's not cancerous you shouldn't risk your life and not tell. It will be worth it.

Breast tissue will change throughout a womens monthly cycle as hormones are changing, it can become more tender around the time of your period as hormones are higher. Although it is probably normal it is always best to have it checked, especially based on your sis' experience.

hey
im pretty sure it's not breast cancer because people usually get breast cancer after their 20's.

It might be a cyst, a breast tissue, anything.
How long have you had it? If you've had it for as long as your breasts have been growing, it's probably a tissue. If not, then it might be a cyst, or an ingrown thing.

Best thing, is to go to your doctor or gyno. I know it's had to ask your mom, but you have to. Why not ask your sister for info about hers, and then see if yours is like that?

oh, and p.s: it might be a regular bump, people have breast bumps.

Tell your mother. Never be embarrassed about something like that. You should see a doctor.

It may just be a fybroid tumor they usually occur when you drink alot of caffiene...chocolate... If they do not go away (because if they are the fybroid tumors they will ) I would go to my mom and let her know they may just be the same thing your sister had... Good luck but do not worry too much it is unlikely it is cancerous.
