Help....kinda weird?!

Question: Okay, so this is kinda gross/weird and I am asking on here to get opinions as I do not have insurance until hopefully March. So whenever I go pee with a tampon in, and I take out the tampon, it is full of urine. I have no idea how this is possible. I didnt even know it was possible. Anyone heard of this or have any sites where I can look? Thanks!

Please no rude answers.

I would suspect that it's just soaking up passing moisture, really.
There are some medical message boards online where you can go ask a doctor or nurse. Just put "medical message board or support group" in a search engine and see if you can't find a place to ask.

you are probably putting the tampon in wrong or not far up enough. the only time urine should get on the tampon is if it gets on the string.

u pee on the tampon

The urine gets on the string thing which carries it into the tampon.

I've never heard of anything like that. Are you taking it out while you are peeing? Or mabye you don't have it inserted up high enough. There is really no other reason I can think of that it would happen unless you are doing one of those.

sometimes when my cycle comes i do the same i think sometimes your flow shifts or slows idk!

if i was u and this was happening i wouldnt use them u could get toxic shock syndrome .. thats how it is caused using tampons and urine gettin on it :S ( make sure u change them regularly)

it means that you are not wearing the tampon correctly.you have not put it far enough in.you need to try and put it in as far as you can.so that it is in your uterus and therefore nowhere near where your pee goes at any point!

It sounds as though you are not placing the tampon right. You might want to insert it further in. Don't go overboard though. If you are pushing hard enough when you urinate, you may be pushing the tampax out enough to absorb the urine. When this happens remove the tampax and start with a new one.

your putting the tampon in the wrong place, you have to make sure you are putting it in the right spot next time because this can cause problems!

I have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM.
Thank you for asking this, seriously.

My best guess would be that when you put the tampon in, it isnt in far enough.
When you put it in can you feel it? If so than it isnt in far enough.
Also, are you using the correct absorbency? That could have something to do with it.
Probably when you pee you are peeing on the tampon because you dont have it in far enough. You cant put it in the wrong hole so its probably just the tampon isnt in far enough. Try again and see if that helps!

It sounds as if you hadn't inserted it far enough.
