I need help w/ Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. I'm starting them today.?!

Question: Sorry this if this is long but i need help. First heres the back ground:

I've been on a generic pill (sprintec) for 6mos now. I ran out, and took my last white pill on Saturday. (The white pills were the ones that trigger my periods.)
So, I missed taking my pill Sun, and Mon. Todays tuesday, but i take them at 10pm so i'm not counting today as being missed yet.

Now, i went to the GYN today and she gave me 1month of Ortho Lo to last me a month b/c i'm getting a IUD in a few weeks. So i get home and Ortho Lo works totally different than the last brand. I just want to get back on track with my pills but i have no idea where to start on LO b/c the first pill on there is white and i'm used to white pills triggering my periods, not being the 1 pill!?LOL
so anyway the directs just confused me more so i thought i'd ask someone who currently takes or is familiar with Ortho Lo. If i left any info back just let me go and i'll edit my question

The last week of birth control pills do not trigger your periods. They are only sugar pills so the drop in hormomes makes you start. Start the new pack when you would've started the next pack of the old one.
OB/GYN RN

Start with the First pill

Start with the number one pill just like you would if you had a new pack of the ones you were on. The triggers are the green ones in the Ortho Lo.
