Birth control: pros and cons of Nuva ring?!
Question: I used the ring for about 4 months.
Pros:
-It was easy to use since you only inserted and removed it once a month.
-It was fairly easy to insert.
-It never felt uncomfortable or fell out.
Cons:
-It wasn't hard to tell when I hooked it on my finger in order to remove it (your vagina doesn't have the same type of nerves as your arm or fingers.) The texture of the ring was hard to discipher from flesh.
-It didn't have enough hormones in if for me. It was like having a light period the entire time I wore it. There wasn't a stronger version so I gave it up.

I have been on the nuva ring for 3 years. I love it. It only fell out once, and that was after having intercourse, that's the only time. It's easy to put in and remove, you can't feel it while having sex and i am only moody about two weeks after my period. Before the nuva ring i was on birthcontrol pills, and had to switch because it gave me high blood pressure.
