Ladies who may have this. Please talk to me?!
Question: Back in December i had my very first pap smear. well my doctor called me yesterday and i tested positive for HPV. I am aware of the fact that i am at risk of Cervical Cancer depending on what kind of hpv strain i have. I believe my ex boyfriend who i had unportected sex with may have passed it on to me. I have only had 5 boyfriends since i was 15. 2 of whom i didnt use a condom with i always got checked even when i used protection. and nothing ever showed up untill my recent ex. I know HPV is not like HIV or herpes but its still an std and life changing. I have a b/f who is in the marines now and i know this one cares because he is so far away, we dont see eachother, and he even said atleast you know its not the physical because i do care for you. and distance can seperate two people. Im going to tell him about this of course i will not keep this from him. I found someone who isnt afraid to tell me he cares or i know cares and now i feel like ill loose him because of what i have. I

It's definately something that is treatable!!
Keep your chin up, it's not the end of the world! I'm sure your boyfriend will understand. Although if you have slept with him, I would have him checked out too because it is very easily spread with sexual partners!
I'm sure you'll be fine! Get some antibiotics, and I'm sure everything will be fine!!
Hi Doll. Life is not over. Just chalk this up to a learning experience. One of my daughters had this. I took her to the doctor where she had cryo surgery to burn the warts off. Doctor put her on some medication and she is doing fine. Hope this helps you.
