Side Effects?!

Question: My gynecologist gave me a pill to get rid of a yeast infection. It's Fluconazole (150 mg). Is there "dizziness" in the side effects? I've been feeling dizzy today and I'm just wondering. I lost the little cardboard thing that probably tells what the side effects are, so thanks in advance to anyone who knows?

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset/pain, headache, dizziness, or hair loss may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

Seek immediate medical attention if any of these rare but very serious side effects occur: severe dizziness, fainting, fast/irregular heartbeat.

This drug may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects, seek immediate medical attention: severe stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea/vomiting, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, unusual tiredness.

A serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

I've had yeast infection meds and had no side-effects. However, look at the info that came with the fluconazole. Maybe dizziness is a possible side-effect.

Dizziness is the side effect for many medications but you can find out by just calling the pharmacy or even looking it up on the internet.

yes it is very normal to feel dizzy, just dont worry about it, it will eventually go away.
it happend to me

SIDE EFFECTS: The incidence of side effects from this medication is relatively high (up to 25%) Many (13%) may get headaches. Some patients develop nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea or dizziness. Severe skin rash may occur but is uncommon.

:)

most likely. dizzyness is sorta common.

severe dizziness

Well everyone reacts to drugs a different way. so yeah it could be a side effect. But don't worry too much unless it ends up hapening more regularly, then consut your doctor.

the effect is not on the side its on the front...adverse reaction here pls http://www.google.com/custom?hl=en&clien...

Yes it is one of the side effects. Also vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat. I have a link for you. If it gets out of control for you, call the doc. Best of luck.

Yes that is one of the side effects--including nausea, vomiting and upset stomach. Try taking it with some food--oftentimes when you take medication that may cause dizziness, you lessen that effect when you take it when you've had a little to eat.

ew gross

your going to die.

sorry.
