First, shame on your mom for taking you there just because she doesnt trust you!
But the only thing doctors can tell, if at all, is if your hymen is broken. Even if it is, it does not mean you are not a virgin b/c like u said, it can break in other ways like during sports.
So no matter what the doctor says when u go, there is nothing that can prove if you are a virgin or not.

Doctors can't tell whether you're a virgin (unless you have evidence of an STD), and even if she could, she couldn't tell your mother. Your mother sounds very paranoid and mistrusting, but just go and get it over with. It won't hurt. I promise.
Doctors might be able to tell if your hymen is intact, but even if it isn't, you're right, there are other explanations for that. If I were you I'd go. Chances are it's still intact.
If you're telling the truth, go to the doctor and tell him to tell your mon his findings. You will have nothing to worry about. You probably should start going anyway.
Yes, they can tell if you have been penatrated deep enough to break the hymen. But I really do not see them releasing this kind of personal information to your mother. The doctor is not allowed to tell her is you tell him not to. Why are you so worried if you have not had sex?
riding a horse, riding your bike, being a gymnast or doing sports. These all can cause it to break, but doctor can check just to be sure that things are ok.
They may be able to tell if you have had sex. but if you have not then i wouldnt worry about it.the doc cant tell her that info anyways.
There are other ways to break your hymen. But if you go and for some reason its broken, your doctor can't tell your mom. its doctor patient privileges. Tell your doctor you don't want her in the room during the exam and then tell the doctor that he/she does not have your permission to share any of the results with anyone. Good luck.

So, go .. it isn't all that bad. You should get used to it .. it's something that you'll have to deal with for a while! Yes, there are other ways to break your hymen .. tampons, sports, etc.
Also, there's complete privacy between you and your gyno. so nothing can be said to your mother.
If you're still a virgin it shouldn't be hard to just go!
It doesn't matter whether or not you broke your hymen. They're able to detect whether you're sexually active or not. If your hymen is broken due to sports, etc. they'll know that is was due to that. So if you claim to be a virgin. YOu'll be fine.

Im pretty sure the doctor is not allowed to tell your mom anything you dont want the doctor to.. its part of the medical privacy act or whatever it is called. I would look that up, but either way its important you see the gyno atleast once a year wether you are a virgin or not.
lA good doctor will detect if your hymen is broken but can not say if you are a virgin or not. Riding a bike can do it or as you say, sports. If your mother does not believe you or trust you then other issues on her mind must be the cause. She is concerned most likely because she did have sex at a very young age. Just keep reassuring her that you never had sex. Ask her questions about sex as if you never heard of it before. If you are having sex then pease use protection at all costs.
