Will I be able to have a child?!

Question: I am 23 years old. I know most women hate pap smears and tests, but for me they have to use the smallest speculumn and it still hurts a ton last year the nurse stayed in with me and the doctor and that seemed to work. But if I cant even make it through a pap test will I still be able to have a baby? I am just worried.

Heres the difference between your pap smears and having a baby, and sex:

Pap Smears: Theyre not exactly what you would call "nice", so your mental state is completely 360 during a pap smear compared to when youre having sex or having a baby for that matter. You are nervous, and you really dont like somebody examing your pelvic area - who does? So you tense up, and when you tense up, your pelvic muscles tense up. Regardless of the doctor and/or nurse telling you to relax, you probably are thinking "To hell with you", so yes.. the pelvic exams can hurt. If you're sore for more than 3 or 4 days, you should be concerned and consider trying a new GYN, because your doctor might not be as gentle as you need.

When you're having sex: You're relaxed and you're, for lack of a better term, "Ready To Go" and you're thinking about how much you want to have sex, and how good it will feel-- so you aren't tensing up. When your hormones go into action, your vagina actually repositions itself for a more comfortable angle-- in preparation for intercourse. So unless you're with somebody very "large", then intercourse should be comfortable-- and ultimately, nothing like getting a pap smear.

You're all good to have kids. Hakuna Matata.

Consider getting a new GYN (And tell the nurses in the office that you need extra gentle care.) It is totally reasonable to request somebody be gentle-- I promise!

Of course you will be.

Sex is pleasureable. Pap smears aren't.

Have you ever had intercourse?
If you can have sex, you can have a baby.

That just means you have a small pelvic area, if you have trouble delivering naturally, you will have a C Section. No biggie.

Yes you can have a baby. You body was made to create life. If, for some reason, you cannot have it vaginally, you can have a cesarion section. Don't worry.

Yes, you will. I've had two children, no problems at all, but I still can't cope with those tests and clamp up. It sounds weird, but it's completely different. Sex is fine because you will are relaxed and enjoying it (and you can't say that of a medical test!) and having the baby, well, it just comes out, regardless!
I wasted a lot of time when I was younger worrying about what having a baby would be like and when I had one I wondered what I'd been bothered about.

well if u want a child take da pain.
