Well yeah they are pretty good. If it is at or around the time your period is expected, they are supposed to be 99% accurate.

Yes u have tested it and its negative then its true , just if u want to crosscheck go for it once more u wil feel better but once done its fine so no need to worry and be careful next time
It depends, it could be too soon to tell or it could be a false reading. Wait a week then take another test.

If you have taken the test according to the directions they are normally in the upper 90% range (95%-99%) accurate for a negative result. The farther away from the date of your missed period makes the test even more reliable. You need to make sure you saturated the test stick-too little sample and it may not test correctly. Wait the full amount of time specified to read results.
After ten days from the due date, go to a pathological labarotary and get the urine pregnancy test done. This will be more reliable.
