no it's not true. Women have all the capacities to be a great president and in many cases the people will be much better off with a female president than with a male president.

The only problem is the culture we're living in that makes it more difficult for women to obtain this role, but then people are so stupid to think that it is due to the women's biology that she's having difficulties with it.

Jessica is a good example of somebody who can not see further than that, she is making it more difficult for her own species by her disbelief, bringing her sisters down even before they try.

Her comment to the catty behaviour amongst women bugs me as well. Catty behaviour (women bitching against each other) is NOT an instinct of women, it's again purely cultural. In the West, women have officially the same rights as men, yet on the psychological level the sexism continues. Men encourage catty behaviour in women, because now they don't need to beat up women anymore to keep them down, no they beat up each other, so that men can enjoy the show. Yeah, how smart is that *rolleyes* I say there is nothing more stupid than women bitching against each other, especially when they are even convinced it is a sign of 'strength' and 'smartness'. No, it is sign of stupidity and cowardice, because the reason why they do it is they have since long time given up the will to be completely equal towards men on every level, so that's not even an option for them anymore. Instead they only compete with other women, well 'compete' is not really the right word, just being plain mean is what it is. This way they keep patriarchy intact. They are sabotaging themselves and each other. I think in the case of Jessica, she has a lack of self-respect for her own gender, but doesn't even realise it.

I think a woman can be president just as adequately as a man. (What I think about Hillary is an entirely different debate.)

I would take Golda Maier over half the male Presidents in US history as a leader.

Then again...she was post menopausal.

I think women can lead and make Presidential decisions. It's just that there is still an invisible barrier of sexism, the same goes for racism. Since many people see that the first women, Eve, listened to a serpent, about eating from the tree of knowledge, it seems that women are basically the peon, or the person who would make bad decisions and turn them into catastrophe.

Nevertheless, women can make great decisions, if someone one would get their heads out of their butts, and give them a chance.

i want hilary to win simply because she is a woman and we can have more opportunities for women everywhere
