Bleeding...?!

Question: Last night my husband and I were having sex and when we were through, and I was cleaning up I noticed some light blood on my feminine hygiene wipe. When I urinated a few minutes later, there was no blood when I wiped. The sex wasn't painful, and I didn't have any burning or swelling when I urinated.

Last week I also noticed some [extremely light] traces of pink when I wiped once or twice.

I've never had this happen before, but when I called my gyno she said it was normal.

I've been on the pill for about six months now, and had a baby in July.

Could this be something serious enough to make an appt. or should I just disregard it as "one of those things"?

Thanks in advance.

It is normal after sex to have some small bleeding. You said that the sex was not painful, however if it was rough there could have been a small rip up inside. I would not freak out about pregnancy or run to the doctor yet. If you notice there is more then just when you wipe then I would make an appointment with the Dr. Good luck

birth control pills can cause spotting but it can also be implantation bleeding (sometimes pills dont work) you should take a pregnancy test to be on the safe side!
