Is it possible to have pain during intercourse because of being overweight?!
Question: My best girlfriend called me today - she is very frustrated because she has been having pain (burning) during intercourse. She said she went to her ob/gyn last week and her pap and other tests (to check for infections, etc.) came back just fine.
She says she has put on about 40 lbs. over the past couple of years and I wondered if that could have something to do with it, but I thought I'd ask here before I would gently offer her my opinion. I just don't know what to tell her. I know she is trying to lose the weight, so if she's actively trying to do so, I don't want to hurt her feelings.
Has anyone been overweight & experienced pain during sex because of that? Or have you heard if that could be possible?

There are sooo many reasons for pain during intercourse, and I'm 99.9% sure none of them have to do with weight of the female. Here are some possible reasons:
1) rough sex
2) just needed to adjust to the size of the male
3) incompatible ph balances between the male and female
4) some kind of soap she's allergic too, or the condom he used or spermicide.
5) some other bacteria that is not tested in a pap smear (like trichomoniasis, etc.)
I'd be willing to bet it's an allergy of some sort. I've known TONS of girls who have dealt with this.
No is'nt this reason for pain , could be infiammation of the mucosa or idiopatic reason but I think that is more probable
one infiammation of origin bacteria or micetica such Candida Albicans , to do one swab could be one good idea.
