How can i tell my girlfriend that i want her to shave?!

If you would like her to TRY it, then suggest it in that manner. If she likes it she'll keep it up.
But remember, just because it's something YOU want, does not mean for a single second that it's something SHE wants. And since it IS her body after all, you must respect HER wishes.

Just ask her if she knew anyone that does and hopefully this might get the issue out in the open, then you can ask questions pertaining to her.
If you are uncomforable telling her, then chances are it's too soon. BUT, if you must, just playfully tell her one night before you do the dirty that you think it's sexy when a woman grooms herself. Even better when its....well bare (for lack of a better word)

Trimming with small scissors would be better. Shaving leaves a girl very uncomfortable. When it starts to grow back, which is within days it is stiff and it hurts. It's to soon to shave again. If she does, she will be just raw. That is very painful.

If you don't feel comfortable telling her this you shouldn't be looking at where it needs to be shaved. Are you uncomfortable talking about birth control too?

Well, I would tell her after having sex, that's when id be comfortable telling her. Like, we're laying there, together and I'd talk to her, being honest.
Why not ask if she'd like it if you were shaved first? If she would, then you could suggest that you both shave (a mutual session perhaps?) If she wouldn't then maybe she would get the hint anyway!!

if it is the pubic area, maybe you can help her trim. but shaving it is painful, especially when the hair grows back.
