Do i think abortion is wrong - yes. Especially when the mother is being irresponsible and now doesn't want to take responsibility for her own actions. The least she can do it give that child to a family that will take good her of it.

I think that if you don't want a baby, don't have sex. Or at least protect yourself. I couldn't tell you how many girls i've known who got abortions.. they weren't married, weren't in a good financial state and also didn't feel like protecting themselves.

But i also think it's every woman's decision. And i do not look down on people who have made the choice to have one. Especially when they were raped, or someone in a bad environment, etc...

But i think there are so many other ways to take care of the situation.. unfourtenately abortion seems like the easiest to some people..

well i dont think they are, its up to the girl to decide if they are rong or not. for example if i got my girl friend pregent we would want to keep it, but if sumone else got her pregent like she got raped or sumthing we would want adn abbortion

I think that there should be certain parameters that are met in order to obtain an abortion.

There are too many people out there who use abortions as a means of birth control. THOSE people should be made to deliver the baby and then allow adoption to a family that would care for and love that baby.

However, if a person was raped or a victim of incest, or if a woman was using RELIABLE birth control (i.e., hormonal method, or 2 or more barrier methods) and STILL got pregnant, then an abortion would be an allowable option.

I also believe that if you end up having more than say, 2 or 3 abortions (and you weren't using RELIABLE birth control), then sterilization is made mandatory.

Sure, it sounds harsh, but people should know that there are viable options out there. Too many teenagers are having sex WAY too early, are too immature to understand the ramifications and consequences of sex, and too many women are too self-absorbed or worried about putting on an extra 5 lbs in order to protect life.

I'm am technically pro-choice....but I believe that ALL life should have the opportunity to fulfill it's destiny.

I definatley think abortion is wrong and immoral. Just to kill a fetus because you do not want it is inhumane. However, if there is danger to the mother or the baby, then you would have no other choice. Therefore, if the abortion is for the health or welfare of the mother or child it would be okay. But, not just to do away with it because you do not want it. I am sure you are aware of all of the people wanting to adopt.

I am pro-abortionist. I do not think it is right to bring up a child when you are not ready...both financial and psychologically. A lot of people would argue on this with me and say to just give up the baby for adoption...but it's not always that easy (imagine you just had a baby, were planning on giving it up for adoption, but now that it is in your arms, do you really want to give it up??).

For someone that is in school (college/university), it is not seemingly the most logical idea to pay all that money, then turn around and not be able to make it to class because you are pregnant and have to undergo doctor's appts, etc. It makes more sense to have an abortion (if you were not intending to get pregnant).

Accidents DO happen...although there are people out there who will get pregnant by not using any form of contraception, I believe it serves them right...but what about those that use all the protection in the world and it still happens?

I think it is stupid if you intend to get pregnant, do get pregnant, then chicken out and get an abortion instead.

I think it is a personal choice and nobody should be influencing that choice and neither should people necessarily judge those that do get abortions because you do not know the story behind it.

I would also like to add that the above posts mention a good point...people are having sex at a very young age and not really thinking about any ramifications, which personally, I believe is very dangerous. I personally waited longer than the average teenager but I know the consequences - I am on birth control (for many reasons) and I always make sure my bf wears a condom. Even with such precautions, accidents can and have been known to happen.

I am also living in Canada, and it's "funny" because there was just a thing on the news about Henry Morganthaller (sp?).

they are WRONG!

since a woman is boss over her own body and thus over Life in general, it is up to her to decide what she wants to do.
It's nobody elses business, so judgements shouldn't be made.

Allthough there can be something said about the several methods of abortions, I can't say a lot about it, since I have almost no knowledge of it.

I definitely think that it is wrong. The mutilation and execution of an unborn child is a heinous crime against nature and mankind. To form an accurate opinion you should search the web for pictures of the procedures and outcome of an abortion. All decisions should be made with an accurate education on the matter.
