I'm having a bad experience after PLAN B help?!

Question: Okay so on Dec 7 2007 , I took plan be an hour after sex. I took the second one as directed 12 hrs after. Now, I got my period on the 1st of January 2008. It lasted for about 13 days which is not normal for me. I usually have a 7 day cycle. Anyhow, a week later I got what seemed like my period yet again! Now, it seemed to last its normal time the only difference is that I keep discharging blood or so it seems. Like i know its not my period but i dont know why i keep wiping when i clean myself and find blood. It looks like lines of dark blood. What could this be? and Why am I still bleeding. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I am having the same problem. I have no clue what it is either. It's been going on for me for over a year now and the doctors dont know what it is. If you find out please let me know.

It freaks me out and its just plain annoying.

This is not normal. I wouldn't necessarily say that it speciffically had to do with Plan B but regardless, you need to see an OB/GYN as soon as possible.

A lot of people have weird side effects from Plan B. Everything will probably be normal again in a couple of weeks.

But if you're worried, I would suggest calling your doctor and asking them.

have you have unprotected sex since taking the Plan B pill? if so you could be pregnant. If not, the Plan B does mess up your cycle for a bit. If you know for sure that there's no way you could be pregnant i would wait until my next period and see how that is

plan b screws up your whole system. give it a month or two and you will be back on your regular cycle.

This link will explain it in further detail for you, but irregular bleeding is not unusual;

Irregular bleeding is common after taking Plan B and most women find it takes 2 months or more for their cycle to get back on track. But it seems like you're bleeding a lot so if it's worrying you then you might like to see a doctor just to check that nothing else is wrong.
