Question about cleansing the 'delicate' area of the female body...?!

Question: I've been having issues with vaginal dryness and burning during intercourse. Since my ob/gyn ran tests and everything came out normal, she recommneded that I try using a superfatted hypoallergenic soap (no dyes or fragrances) - one that is nonalkaline and pH-balanced.

However, she failed to recommend any specific brands. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Really, the only thing you need to use is plain water. Soaps and cleansers are not necessary. You can use a washcloth if you like, but all you should need is your hand. If you have a handheld showerhead, you can use the gentle spray to clean off your vulva. Some women use a water bottle, similar to the ones that they give you in the hospital after giving birth (peri bottles, they're called).

I'll see if I can find some links for you.

Summers Eve feminine wash for sensitive skin it is only for the vagina and it doesn't make you dry. try it good luck!

Basis is great. Try to get the bath sized bars though. You can get the face size at the drugstore. When there was a Eckerds, they used to special order the bath sized bars for me but you can probably get them on line now. Basis is great for your whole body.

Femfresh do a whole range of feminine hygiene products. The do a foaming wash which is great for keeping your lady area clean and fresh and wont upset it. All their products are pH balanced and fragrance free, and are specially designed for your delicate area. Lol, I sound like an advert! ;)
