Does anyone else get two periods every month?!

Question: i don't know why, but since april of last year i've been getting my period twice a month about two weeks apart... it's almost like clockwork. i've been bugging my mom to make me a gyno appointment for a very long time, but she always puts it off. i keep forgetting that i'm 18 and can do it myself now... except i never have made a doctor's appointment for myself and am not sure how to go about that. i know it's kind of stupid, but don't judge me. heh

by the way, do you think it's even possible for me to become pregnant with such an inconsistent cycle? not that i want to have any kids right now, but i am sexually active (and safe more than not). just wondering...

It happens to me too. I'm "regularly irregular". Regular in the sense that my period will always come between 21-28 days and last the same amount of days, but irregular in the sense that I never know which day it'll come, lol. So I always have my period twice a month. And it sucks. :(

I keep meaning to make an appointment myself so I can get on BC or something to regulate this thing.

I got my first period this month, and just today I got another one. :D

you should definitely make that appointment yourself. all you have to do is ask your physician or call the office and ask to make an appointment for the gyno. just ask questions and you'll get it. i'm not sure having two periods/month is good..? my friend had that happen to her for just ONE month and she ended up being anemic. so..get going to the gyno!
