try taking somehting for it first or if your in a desk/office then heat up a wheatbag in the staff microwave and put it on your lower belly

I've done it once or twice over the years. Usually I take some ibuprofen and suck it up and finish the shift, but we're all entitled to a break every now and then, aren't we?

I'm sorry to say this but SUCK IT UP, you only have 40 minutes left. Period cramps are something we women have to learn to deal with.
Depends on the severity of the cramps. I've worked through cramps but some are so unbearable that you just want to get away from people.
If they are just sharp pains have some water, advil, etc. but if they're long pains that get worse and you think you're going to throw up or faint than tell your boss that you are too ill to work. even say that you need to go to the doctor.
i've tried to suck it up in the past but i end up sweating, vomiting, fainting. it's not pretty.
