This is normal, some girls start off with regular periods. If you want to use a tampon, go ahead and use one if it is okay with your mom. Pads feel like diapers so I would. When you buy tampons, instructions are in the box. But if they are hard to understand go to www.beinggirl.com and it will be in a simpler and easier format. If you have any other questions, just mail me. :)

yes...read the instructions on the box

If you feel comfortable with your body and have checked everything out down there, go ahead and try, instructions are included in the box. I'd suggest trying different brands til you find what works best for you.

Everything sounds average and healthy. Once your cycle regulates, your period should come every 28 days.

Using a tampon is completely up to you. Pads work fine, but if you're planning on swimming a tampon is necessary. You should fine the proper instructions in the tampon box.

Here are the best instructions I found online: http://womenshealth.about.com/cs/azhealt...

To help you feel more in control of your period, use this period planner: http://www.seventeen.com/health-sex-fitn...

Remember:
Your body is still getting used to having a period and it'll be hard to predict at the moment.

You should have a period every 28 days that lasts for a week.
Not everybody is on this schedule, but this is the norm. As far as using tampons, the instructions in the box have pics and are very easy to follow. If you are worried that you will lose your virginity, don't worry, it won't hapen from using tampons.

Its normal, if you have your period 1/maonth. and I think you should wear tampons if you are very active. You put it into your vagina towards your back, you can do this standing up or on the toilet
