Be honest about how you feel pads are like wearing diapers and u are uncomfortable with them. Say you know all about TSS and explain you will change it every 1 or 2 hours to make her feel better. Also say that you will try the slimmest ones and will read the directions REALLY carefully and all. Bring the topic up when she is alone and your siblings or/and dad is not around. Just be like "Hey mom... So I was wondering if you would be alright with me using tampons?" And mention all of the above, Best of Luck!!!

Just tell her. The worse she could do is tell you No. Tampons hurt when you are a virgin and you are using them. Plus, you have only experienced your 4th period so highly doubt if she will say yes. But, you have to do what you think is good for your body. If she says yes, try using the slimmest ones (playtex are good) or use o.b.

just be straightout and tell her!.?

Gently approach the subject and say you don't feel comfortable with pads. Thats how I told my mother.

Hi! take a deep breath and just say it. Your mom had to go through this too and I'm sure she will understand. Choose a good time when she is in a good mood and you have privacy.Explain how yucky the pad feels to you. Promise her you will change it often (that may be 2-3 times a day depending on your flow) and that you will use good hygiene. Make sure you wash your hands before you insert the tampon as well as after. You don't want to get nasty germs inside your vagina from your hands.

Just ask your mom to buy you some, i don't think that she will care, especially if you play sports. And they have never hurt me.

The best is just coming out and telling her that you would like to try tampons. There is a website that you can go onto to get free samples. It is for young adults. You might find it interesting. it is called being.com

just catch her when she is alone and ask her if u can talk to her that is kinda embarrassing and just tell her the truth
for that reason u can't really beat around the bush u have to go righ tout and say it

just tell her, my mom made me use tampons, because i'm on a gymnastics team. get a multipack box though if you do get them. (tampax) they come with light--regular--and super, so you can decide which one you need, and playtex gentleglide is okay too.

if your moms on her way out to the store or something, just casually say "oh and pick me up some tampons" then walk away. she'll bring them home, no questions asked and she'll be aware that your using them.

Alot of people have this problem I would just say to my mom "I think I'm ready to start using tampons because pads are uncomfortable for me" and remember, your mom is like your best friend you can tell her everything

u don't necessarily have to tell her.. just use them. Or just tell her you're feeling uncomfortable

ive had mine for a year.. im almost 13.. and m still using pads..
yes its very uncomforable and it might tend it stink?
but tampons have very many side effects or risks..
ive never used one but my sister didnt start using it till she was 15-16 because you should wait till you know how heavy and your own cycle.
not after 4 months
