A 14 year olds height?!
Question: I am 14 years old and I weigh about 108 lbs and I am 5'4 1/2. People always say I am tall and I get self conscious. Is this too tall? My mom is 5'3 and so is my older sis and my dad is like 5'8. Will I stop growing soon???

This is a perfect height. But yes, you will probebly stop growing soon. Be proud of your height. :)
ur fine just the way u are...i'm 14 too and im 4' 9" and 88lbs. so i really wish i could be in ur shoes
huh your a midget im 5'8" maybe 5'9" and im still the midget in my family my mom is 5'11 and all the guys are at least6'2 your still short and my guess is you have stopped growing or will soon ive been this tall since 7th grade just wait all the guys your going to school with will start to grow
Hey, what's this? You're worried about being too tall at 5'4 1/2? I grew to be 5'11" and it was GREAT! I loved it.. I had plenty of dates, and a great social life. I was the center of our high school basketball team and quarterback of our girls' football team [we beat the boys team once in a scrimmage..HA!]
Sure, at first I was bummed out because I was the tallest student in class (including the boys for a whole year) but then my aunt (who is also my height) had a party for me! She invited a whole bunch of tall women- some of my aunts and cousins, but also some girls and ladies I'd never met- and it was fun!! They all had presents for me and welcomed me to the 'Five Foot Eight Special Women's Club'. I kept growing after that, but I didn't care anymore...I was in a select group (today, though, 5'8 isn't at all unusual)
I learned to stand up tall and straight (like a queen), and to wear high heels like everyone else and be PROUD of who I was.
You can't control how tall you will get - and yes, you will continue to grow for many years to come- maybe tall or maybe not so tall- but no matter how tall you end up love yourself for who God made you. He's never made anyone exactly like anyone else (even identical twins are not perfect copies) and He's never made garbage, so look yourself straight in the eye in the mirror and give yourself a hug for being a wonderful, unique YOU!!!!
Oh, and I should mention, I married a man who is 3 inches shorter than me...and that was 30 years ago! We go dancing a lot... I slip off my heels and he has thicker soled shoes so we're pretty much the same height when we snuggle-dance. So, don't worry...height is nothing more than love stacked up taller :)
Sweetie, i'm 15 nd almost 5'9, nd proud of it!!!!, At first especially when i was 13 nd 14 (i was around 5'6-5'7) i was very self-conscious, i was the tallest person in my school in 7th, nd the tallest girl in 8th, so i used to slouch and i had back pains, but now i stand tall (quite literally). I am now a sophmore, and my boyfriends a senor, hes 5'6-5'7, around 1-2 inches shorter than me. So don't worry, the guys will grow taller than u, but in some cases they will be shorter, but some like tall girls...
