I don't think ive been ovulating?!?!
Question: I have noticed the last YEAR almost.. that i don't get that booger-type mucous anymore.. my discharge only comes out really watery but no mucous. is that a sign that i've not been ovulating or is it possible for the mucous to be so thin that its undectable?

Are you getting periods? You only get a period after you ovulate - and not everyone gets an obvious change in mucus. That's why it's not a 100% reliable measure of ovulation. If you are ttc, try one of those ovulation testers.
EDIT: Normal period usually indicate ovulation, however if you are ttc, there could be LOADS of other reasons for not falling pregnant.
Have you been getting your period?
If your mucus is thick it is not a sign of ovulation. If your mucus is thin and has the consistency of an egg white that is usually a sign of ovulation. It sounds more like you weren't ovulating and that you now are ovulating.
