how old are you?
dont worry i was 11 to didnt have a clue what it was or what to do and didnt have a very good relationship with my mum either it took me 2 days to tell her but she was fine as im sure your mum will be to.
or maybe try to talk to your older sister prehaps she could sit with you and your mum and tell her for you?
also try and visit www.kotex.com they have some helpful info for first timers? good luck chick x x x
Start with Pads your to young really to be using tampons i dont think it is recommended for you first time x

It sounds like your period, you will have to get yourself some products and start reading up on it. If your on here you can go look on the internet for some more info. Talk to your mom, it may actually help your relationship. Welcome to womanhood.

Yeah it sounds like you got your period. With your first period, you'll have some brown discharge and some blood. It's normal. Cramps are also normal. If you do have them as I did, take some Tylenol, but just a heads up that it will make you bleed more. Hope this helps!

oh my sweet heart how old are u? it's ur period dont worry so much about it. go ahead and tell ur mom. its not that big of a deal.you just need some pads or tampons. which ever ur comfortable with. no biggie girl! dont they teach u girls these things in skool?

yep you are on it. you need some pads and when you're ready tampons.

don't panic it does sound like your period. it can be scary at the start but it just means that you are becoming a woman. check out this website for more information...

yeah sounds like your period
if you tell your mom it could make your relationship better
but if you decide you don't want to tell her at all
you could always tell your sister and get advice from her.

and all of that stuff is normal when you first start your period.

sweetie...u have ur period...thats the way mine was when i was 12 and I got it...I thought I was dying...and no I didnt have cramps either...get some pads...not tampons yet. Let your body get used to using pads before you go for tampons. It's ok, my best friend started when she was 10 years old. It is perfectly natural. Get your sister to help if you have a better relationship with her. You don't have to do this alone! Talk to a school nurse or a counselor if you can't talk to ur mom!

Okay, take a deep breath, you'll be okay... nobody is going to delete you. It does sound like your period started. So, for beginners start with just pads.. when you get older use tampons... I'm very sorry that you don't have a closer relationship with your mom, that is awful. But, you do need to tell her, and have her help you... If she can't even do that for her own daughter, then make sure she never has another kid... that just really upsets me... Try talking to one of your teachers at school too, or a guidance counselor... Girls need a woman/motherly figure in their lives... even if it isn't a family member.

HI! ok well yeah i freaked out when i started! I prayed forever that I wouldn't get it. Then I just told my mom and she's like. "oh here" and showed me the pads and all that weird stuff! lol! You did start it. The brown is ddried blood...you will probely have that a lot. Yes use pads. I mean...toilet paper works too but pads are better! lol! Use em both! there! lol!
It's really no big deal. Everyone is like "oh your all grown up not" bla bla bla nag nag nag. But it makes no difference in your life really except you know! lol!
Just tell your mama. I though my mom would cry when i told her but she was just like "oh here" and showed me where the stuff was. After all i am sure you learned about everything in school and all already.
Best of luck

P.s. Your age is right. I mean I started later but my friend started at 9 and this other girl started at 6! Yeah that's young.!! But your age is A OK!

Listen, first of all, this is nothing to fear. Talk to your mother, this is not going to destroy your relationship with her. In fact, this is the time you need her the most. Go and tell her all that is going on. Don't use toilet tissue, you may get an infection from it. For now, just use pads, tampons may be a little too much. If you don't feel comfortable talking to your mother, at least talk to the school nurse or your counselor at school.
