Well, you have some choices:

Get in and out of the water very quickly, water pressure will stop all but the heaviest flow while you are in the water.

Tell your teacher that you are on your period and do not want to swim, usually, they will have other things you can do to make up for it.

Skip school or class and deal with all of those negative consequences that teenagers love so much.

Deal with your issues and realize that tampons are a valid option. If it is tampons themselves that give you queasy feelings, consider a cup like the keeper. You can find out more with a simple google search.

tell your teacher or have your mom write a note.
they usually let girls off the hook for stuff like that.
=]

just tell them ur on ur period or just get ur mum to write a letter..
i'm sure they will understand :)

break into the school the night before you got your period and tint the pool red
when you start your period no one will know
watch out for sharks though.. they can smell the blood

inform your teacher. even if he is male you will find they are very understandin. i had one who was great but he did keep check for all those girls who mysteriously had it every 2 weeks. but if you inform then on monday then they should be fine. ask if you could stay and do other study in another class just to make it look as if your not doin it to get out of class. they may even just get you to help outside the pool.
they cant force you to use tampons
