A cyst is a fluid filled capsule, and can appear anywhere on your body. They are usually harmless, but can be quite painful, like an underground pimple is painful, because it places pressure on surrounding tissues, depending on where they are, and whether they are growing. When they burst, there is often relief. Some cysts, like in your breast, can be bad, because they might have cancer cells in them. I've known several women with painful cysts on their ovaries, and they haven't ended up being dangerous. If I were you, I'd ask the doctor for a full explanation. Also, why not go on line and google ovarian cysts? You can really learn a lot that way. I am not a doctor. So my answer is purely anecdotal. Hope it helps some.

Ovarian cysts are pretty common and can be VERY painful if they rupture. Just a cyst is not dangerous.

ask the doctor dont fool around with that man! take care of her she will need you more than ever now

Cystic ovaries are common in women. They tend
to come and go, dissolving on their own.
Unless the cyst grows beyond a certain size,
they are usually left alone.
If the condition causes pain, meds can be given
to inhibit their growth.
Ovarian Cysts have no negative effect on
furture pregnancies.
Hope she is better soon.

well she might not beable to have kids now.
