My period didn't get normal until I was 17 (and i started when I was 13). That being said, if it's followed the same pattern of length and heaviness for 3 consecutive months, chances are that's your normal flow.
Birth control, fortunatly, is easily available and will help make your period lighter and shorter.

differs for different people, usually its 5 days.

Different people have different lengths. Yours migth be shorter one time and longer the next. It also depends on body build

It's natural to stay up to 10 days .. a week is the common average period .. nothing to worry about

It sometimes takes a few months for your period to stabilize and establish a pattern. It's good to mark on your calendar when it started & finished and start keeping track. I'm suggesting this, because then you can see a pattern easier & basically know when it will start each month, and you'll be prepared with a pad or tampon when you need it. You wouldn't want to be wearing white pants and your period start without being prepared.
