Slightly embarrassing issue that I'm asking here....?!

Question: Ok, so you're probably thinking "she thinks this is embarrassing so she's asking it on Yahoo! Answers?" Yup, pretty much. I don't really want to go to my gyno and be like "Hey, check this out."

Here's the issue: I've noticed recently that I've been getting some like puffy/dry skin rising up near on side of my clit. I have absolutely no idea what it is and it's not causing me discomfort but it's there and I don't know what it is so it kind of worries me.

As for my sexual history, I've only had one partner and I was tested for STDs and HIV six months ago with no sexual activity from that point forward. So, might not be an STD.

What do you guys think this is and if it sounds like I should go to the gyno....What exactly should I say?

Its probably just a bit of excema or a reaction to washing powder. I had a rash at the top of my groin a few years ago and could not think of the cause so i went to the doc's and he said it was probably caused by a reaction to the dye in the new pair of jeans i had just bought. Now i was everything before i wear it.
Have you bought any new clothes recently and wore them straight out of the bag?

You definitely should see a doctor, and just tell them that you have a patch of skin that looks abnormal.

I would guess that it'd due to cold weather and dry skin issues. We dry out so much when it's cold, then add in multiple layers of clothing, hot showers, and the fact that most people don't use lotion down there.

But any sort of abnormality should be checked with a doc first to rule out any sort of problem that can get worse.

Its going to shrivle up and fall off.

its a bacterial infection...dont scratch or rub it too hard it will blister...use mild soap...vasaline and or powder and go see a dr
