How can i make it so taking out my tampon won't hurt so bad?!

Question: i wear my tampon until it leaks, but it hurts soo bad to take it out

also, something weird i noticed. i would put in my applicator all the way, but when i pushed it for the tampon to go it it wouldn't go in any further than where the applicator was. so i could feel it and it was very uncomfortable. And i would only have in a light tampon for about 5 minutes, and it would leak. is this normal?

When you inserted the applicator you probably hit your cervix, which is about the same size as a tampon, so before you push the tampon in move the applicator lower (like toward your bum) and it should go it farther. Or even better would be to change your body postition so if you usually do it sitting, trying standing up and putting your leg up.

When you are taking it out just relax your muscles and pull it out fast. If it is hurting that bad you should use a lower absorbancy and change them more often. But if you have to change a light after 5 minutes you have to use a regular or super because they arent expanding large enough. It is more likely that it is leaking because it wasnt in far enough. If you can feel the tampon it isnt in the right place and will leak.

It sounds like your pelvic muscles are clenching. You'll need to work on relaxing when you go to put it in. If it's full of blood it shouldn't hurt when you take it out, but if it's dry it will hurt. If you aren't able to relax enough to get it in properly you'll have to switch to pads or the cervix cup thing.
The applicator is only goes in a little ways, when you push the tampon it should go the rest of the way.

You may have a tilted uterus(I did). You may need to change the angle of insertion. You should only use the size tampon that prevents leaking for 2 hours. And if you do leak, you may have heavy periods and also need to wear a pad.

hm.thats not normal. it shouldnt hurt at all. you should probably talk t your doctor.

when a tampon is inserted properly you cannot feel it, taking it out shouldn't hurt either...from what i can gather, your tampon isn't bing pushed in far enough that is why u are leaking so quickly and why it is hurting wen you remove because the tampon is not actually fully saturated...

try using a vaginal moisturizer like replens or astroglide. Using K-Y gel when you insert the tampon and relaxing will help. If this doesn't work then you may need to use pads when you are not heavy enough to use tampons. Tampons will leak especiall if you are dry and after insertion there is not enough moisture for the tampon to expand.

try the right fit 4 a day and if it still hurts visit your doctor or tell mom, there is 1 more answer visit KidsHealth.org ive been there tons of times now its in my favorites!

My wife ties the string to a door knob and makes me slam the door. It works every time.
