Hi, if you have dogs, it's very likely one of them brought it into the house, and it just crawled into your room. Chances are you won't see another one for a long time. If you do happen to get bit you'll know it. A tick bite usually itches after just a little bit. And the best way to get a tick off, is to light a match, blow it out, and immediately stick it to the tick. This way he lets go and you don't have to worry about pulling the head off and leaving it in your skin. Then wash it and put antibiotic salve on it. It should be gone in a few days. Hope this helped

Ok, you probably got it off of your dog. This happend to me once. I was cuddling our cat and about thee hours later I felt something on my neck and it was a TICK! they are very slow moving little bugs that can even fall from tree's. I don't know where you live, so I don't know the climate, but if it is warm where you are, you could have just brought it in from outside. My guess is that you were probably lovin on the dog and it got on you that way. It's all part of having a dog. Even if you have front line on them. Front line will kill the bugs, but it doesn't keep the bugs from getting on them initially. If you have been bitten, you will see a spot on your skin that sorta resembles a bullseye. Ahhhh,....they joys of pet ownership!

When the little sucker stays on you when you try to brush it off. Although it won't bite your bra, if you need any help with this, I'll be glad to oblige my services. You can use alcohol to help get his head out instead of yanking him out and breaking it off under your skin.

Sorry I don't want to sound stupid but what is a tick and what does it do? is it like a flea? Can you please answer that for me I'm very intrested!
