since you are a new mother it always takes a longer time to start thinking of yourself because we often put our kids first, which is okay. but now its time for you to feel great..remember the longer you take in starting to lose the weight, the longer it will take for you to lose it.
i personally didnt lose my baby fat 1 year after i had the baby. my best advice to you at this moment is to start by switching all of your snacks
to fruit and raw veggies
baby carrots,apples,bananas,celery sticks..ect..
whole grains instead of white bread
lay low on microwave food, which tends to be a savior
roast chicken for the week.. eat fish at least once a week
and get drinking some good multivitamin.
go for long walks at the park. increase your steps and start jogging or power walking
with the baby on a stroller. just keep moving throught the day. i know it gets hard when you are nursing but pumping milk before and after your workouts will be fine.
also,
investing on a baby and me yoga video is a good idea.

drink lots of water! cut back on soda or dont drink any at all..
if you are nursing and drinking soda this might be keeping your child up at night! caffeine overall.
you will see that these small changes pay off,my best of wishes for you and the little one.
good luck.

Eat light, exercise hard.

go to the gim

Give birth.

Work out an stay focus. An Don't Eat Like is going to be last meal.

run 2 miles everyday on a treadmill

Try going on a lean cuisine diet. The medifast is amazing to. They are healthy, working diets. My dad went on the medifast and he is just shedding poundage.

eat good
and move around.
it is the same way everyone else has to lose weight.

Find someone to babysit and every night after your partner comes back, give the job to him while you go to the gym and eat light... and be busy with the baby not to have time for your mouth!!

Don't try to lose it quickly. It's more likely you'll gain it back, the faster you lose the weight. I would try to go to the gym as often as possible, and substitute junk food for fruits and vegetables. Congratulations on your baby boy!

Firstly, Congrats on the birth of your baby boy. You fail to mention when you gave birth. The weight will come off slowly but it should come off with little effort but EXTREMELY slowly all the way down to the last five to ten pounds. That will take some time and effort to get rid of. Try walking every day for 50 minutes until you lose it all. Good luck and congrats.

You didn't mention how long ago you gave birth or if you're still breast feeding.

I found breast feeding to be incredibly affective at losing weight with my older son but less so with my young daughter. I lost all I had gained plus some with my son, with my daughter, I breastfed longer but still have not fully lost all the weight. If you are still breast feeding you need to be sure to eat properly for yourself and your child and not really worry about losing weight.

A factor can be age: The older you are, the harder it will be to lose that 'baby weight'. I was over 30 when I had my daughter and have a feeling that may be part of my body hanging onto my 'unlost' weight too. Plus he was born in the summer with lots of fresh fruits available, she in the fall when we were heading straight toward holiday tables filled to the max with heavy, winter style foods.

Otherwise the same adage for weight loss holds true. Be sure to eat good, nutrient packed food, stay away from 'bad foods' including those that include a lot of sat and trans fats, white & corn syrup based sugars and white flours that have been stripped of their essential nutrients. Eat whole grains, lots of fruits and veggies, moderate lean cuts of meat (if you do eat meat) or fish and make sure to drink a lot of water, especially if you're still breast feeding. Add in exercise and keep your metabolism from being stuck.

Be patient with your body. Depending on how long ago you gave birth, it may take some time but don't look for fad diets, just east sensibly and increase exercise and learn to love your new body. Even if you lose all the weight, your body is simply not the same after you give birth.

Congrats on your baby! First off all though are you breastfeeding? This is probably the best way and this is how nature intended it to be. Being a "dairy queen" uses up so much energy you will find yourself hungry all the time eat loads not gain any weight and your baby will be healthier. I breastfed my baby excluxisively for 3 months and I lost all the weight while still eating the during pregnancy portions plus the treats.

If you are not breatfeeding then the usual thing will work: Cut down the calories, exercise and you will get there. Swimming is good.

Become bulimic.
