The jury is still deliberating the question (science is not clear on the matter yet).

One thing though, fresh coffee has anti-oxidants which are good at destroying free radicals that cause cancer. Yay, coffee good!

Drink too much coffee and you might be labeled ADD or ADHD unless you are already ADD or ADHD then it might mellow you out.

I drank a pot or more a day for 25 years at which time my stomach began to hurt so I quit. I used a lot of sugar. Sugar is bad, but there is more in a soft drink that has other bad things in it.

I love coffee and I have stopped drinking it. Coffee is a diuretic, which makes you go to the toilet all the times because it is an irritant and not good for you.

I noticed my heart rate would accelerate after my first sip, always needed one to get me going, ups and downs were amazing.

I suffered a lot with headaches, pains in my shoulders etc. I don't have those symptoms now. I drink peppermint tea. I do love coffee like I said, but it makes me too sick to enjoy.

It never affected me until about 10 years ago. I ma now 45. I have read coffee is a contributor to cancer and other diseases.
Don't want to scare you, but this is why I stopped.

1 teaspoon of sugar can stop your immune system for a day. Think about the soda people are drinking' and all the sugar in sweets etc. We consume 20 times more sugar today than people 50 years ago. Have a look at the diseases today, it's not coincidence.

The 3 sugars will make you fat over time. Caffeine can cause your metabolism to temporarily rise, but fall even lower as the caffeine wears off. If you drink it on full cream milk this can make you gain weight as well.
If you drink caffeine excessively when pregnant it can cause a miscarriage.
Caffeine can effect sleeping patterns, blood pressure and brain activity.
But its much better for you than drinking or smoking.

If I were I would slow it down a bit. I just started drinking coffee (I'm 18.....lol)and I have heard so many things about coffee, some people say its bad for you and some doctors say it has health benefits. Since your only 15 I would start out having 1 cup of coffee with three sugars every second day.....when you get older you can start having more a day.
