Question: okay so i have some question about periods. when i have mine i get like these blood clot things i dont know what they are called really but i felt it and it was like jell! is that normal? and so i have a tampon in right and there is like nothing on it and then i think oh well it's over and then i dont put one in and then there is blood! why? thanks so much!

The clots are normal. In fact, it's good that you clot when you bleed. :) You may also be seeing some of the lining of the uterus....also normal.
Your uterus, and particulary the walls of your vagina, have little curves and "wrinkles" where the blood can pool a bit. So even if you have no flow for awhile, once those areas "overflow" you'll have some drainage. It's best to wear a panti-liner or thin pad for a day or so even after you think your period is finished, just to be safe.
This happens sometimes---it may mean you're dehydrated.
Also, it's healthier in the long run not to use tampons---in some people they can cause toxic shock. Pads are all-around more hygenic, and less stress on your body.
Well I don't use tampons so I wouldn't know..
I use pads, and with pads blood clots are normal, but could also be an indication of your nutruition not being real good, but even so, it's still normal...
Your period when it is ending or starting, sometimes their are times when your vagina doesn't pump out all of the blood, but eventually(if you leave it in long enough) there will be blood..but like I said I don't wear tampons..
the blood clots are normal...we all get those. and for your second question. i normally do that too when my period is almost over. so maybe your periods are just light. :-)
the blood clots is unfertilized eggs coming out. yep, in that jell is unused eggs.
i cant really tell you why you dont see blood, and then you do. it happens to me too. during the night, i hardly bleed at all.
my word of advice, carry a pantyliner and tampon with you at all times. you never know when you will need it!
