A queef is a rude colloquialism for air escaping from the vagina, making a noise like flatulence.
It is caused by air being pushed into the vagina during vigorous sex, or sexual positions allowing for air to be pushed in by the penis.
The vaginal walls, when they're not serving their primary purpose/s collapse in on themselves; when air is trapped in the vagina, the pressure of movements, muscle contractions, and the shift of internal organs forces the air back out, making the sound.
Normally after sex or during, it's because it get air in it... and makes a little fart sound sometimes.
