My left abdomen is hurt in its an aching pain...is it my appendix?!

right abdominal pain, without a fever, is unlikely to be appendicitis. Could be your ovary is releasing an egg, could be you have some fecal matierial or gas stretching the bowel at that point, could be any number of things. Suggest that if it persists for more than 8 hours that you see a doctor about it.
Your appendix is on the lower right - plus the pain for appendicitis is generally central and moves to the lower right. You may have a wind pain??
The appendix hurts on the RIGHT side.
It could be your bowl (colon) that is where mine hurts bad, then I run to the potty.
1. If you think its your appendix you should get checked out since it can kill you.
2. As dumb as it sounds, press on it. If it shoots over to the left side, that is a sign of an infected appendix. Also if you press on it does it hurt more when you press on it or when you let go? If it hurts more when you let it go, that is also a sign of an infected appendix.
3. could also be your gallbladder, does it hurt more when you eat, especially greasy food.
i'm surprised no one has yet mentioned it could be a cist on your overies, i had 1 when i was 15 was in a lot of pain, get it looked at, if it is dont worry they ussually go away on there own or sometimes need key hole surgery, but get it looked at.
Do you have any other symptom besides the pain? I didn't have a fever but I felt really sick to my stomach. The pain started out in the middle and moved down as the day went on.
Hey, this is right at my life.!!!!I had er appendectomy last Tuesday.Here were my symptoms:woke up with terrible stomach ache.drank h2o and took anti acid OTC stuff to no avail.vomited every time i even put h2o in.3 hours later went to er and after cat scan they diagnosed me.i had all my pain on left side and stomach .AFTER cat scan/dye- pain was on left. good luck
