Why was my period only 3 days?!

Question: I always have 6 days of bleeding, but this time all i had was 3 days of light pink spotting, which has never happened to me, i know it's not pregnancy cuz i chart my morning temps and my temps are low, not high like they should be if i was preggo. And i know i did ovulate cuz i had a thermal shift, so as you can see i'm very confused, any ideas as to why it was so light?

That happens to me every now and again. Happened last month actually, even stopped completely for a day in-between. I figured it was because I had been sick. Have you been stressed lately or started a new excercise program or diet? That can play a part as well. If you are really still concerned and if there is a possibility I would take a pregnancy test regardless of your temps. If for no other reason to just put your mind at ease.

you were probably just having a light flow cycle.

This can happen every now & then. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. Take a test if you miss a period.

Younger women are typically irregular.

Everyday lifestyle, stresses and change in eating habits can change your cycle and your menstrual flow. If you are overly concerned, talk to your GP or gynaecologist.
Hope this helps and have a great day/night!
Good Luck
