I was kinda like, "oh. well. That was unexpected."
When I got my period, at first I thought I had an accident in my pants.
I cleaned up and told my mom I think I had my period.
In all the movies I've seen like Anne Frank, everyone's been like
'Oh my gosh!' 'You're a woman!'.
My mom was like,'Here's a pad.'
I didn't fall-to-pieces freak out, but it did feel a little weird when I went to class after going to the nurse's office and my friends asked where I'd been.
I didn't. I went down and showed my mom. SHe freak'd. I'm her only kid (I have 2 older step sisters and 1 younger step brother). She started to cry. She gave me some pads and we didn't talk about it the rest of the time, she gave me books. Sometimes when I give her attitude she's like, "Ugh, I hate the time of the month too, Meghan." . I was 13.
