IUD Cramps?!

Question: For those who have gotten an IUD (Merina specifically), how long did the cramping last after you got it?

A couple of days right after the insertion. I'd have PMS symptoms for about four days before my periods arrived, too--but they only came every six weeks.

Every woman reacts differently to Mirena.

about a week then after every month on the days your suppose to get your period.after about 4 to 6 months you'll only get your period 3 to 4 times a year sweet .just remember when you have it taken out you can possibly get pregnant with in 48 hours afterwards.

Funny, I guess everyone is different. I didn't feel anything after it was inserted. No cramping....but...when my period came that's when the cramping started and there was no flow for the first day. It felt a little strange because usually with cramping comes blood. Then there was blood, but gone now and the cramps have stopped too.
