I am 17 and my breasts are way to big! I'm thinking about a reduction.?!

Question: When I was 13 they were 36 DD, now they are 38 DDD. and they are still growing!!! They give me a lot of back pain and I'm thinking about getting a reduction because it keeps people from looking at my face, I've tried wearing sports bra's, wearing loose shirts, and just trying to deal w/ it but it's really hard for me. Are there any other things I could do instead of reducing them?

A tighter bra is only going to make you more miserable. Unfortunatly honey you're probably going to have to have them reduced. Or you can guarantee you'll have back pains in the future. BTW... you're too small to be having that big of boobs, lol, you'd probably like them even more after a reduction, it'll fit your frame better.

I don't really know. My sister has the same 'problem' but I would consider it a blessing to have huge boobs...

But if they REALLY hurt and they are causing you pain, then I think you should get a reduction, or wear tighter bras.

Sounds as though I know exactly how you feel. It is tough but I would wait, Should you have kids, they will grow back again and breastfeeing makes them sag, so I would wait until those things are done and then consider it, as I have. Can't wait to have them smaller!!!!

If they are causing pain then please talk to your doctor because this could cause you more back pains when you are older. You sound pretty thin to me so it's not a problem of having extra fat on your boobs just a development problem. Just talk to your Dr about the reduction.

In high school, I to was a 36d, even a double d. But after i had my son, they dropped to a c, then after my daughter, they went to a b. Good thing i stopped having kids! but seriously, just wait. If they are still a problem at 25, then do it. in the mean time, go get fitted for a better support bra, with good shoulder straps. don't wear clothes that bring attention to them, and don't forget to put your arms in front of your chest while running! good luck.

interesting, which leads me to speculate.... keep them that way, horny guys like that....

Omg im the same way! Im a 36G and life sucks! I've really thought about a reduction, but I like the response guys give me and I dont want scars... I hate how everyone notices, though. I cant walk into a room w/o people staring at my knockers... Bras are so hard to find, and they never fit. I just consider it my cross to bear. Breast reductions are life changing. I wouldnt do it until I'm like 30...
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hi! Well, I have to say that I had the exact same problem as you. I was always a DD for quite a long time, and when I was 18 (last year), they got all the way to an E. I'm a very tall girl (5'11'') and about 160 lbs, but even I knew my boobs were way too big for my frame. So, last July, I decided to get a reduction based on these two reasons: a) my boobs were big because it runs in my family and losing weight would not affect my breast size, and b) I was starting to get permanent grooves in my shoulders from the digging bra straps...I even had to stop playing soccer because I was tired of wearing three sports bras. The reduction was honestly the BEST thing I ever did for myself. I went down to a 38D, and now they are the perkiest things ever and look awesome on my frame. Insurance paid for just about every penny of it, and while recovery is long and tedious, the end result is the best feeling in the world. Bikini tops, halters, you name it, I can wear it now. While it was great that insurance paid for it, the best part is that now people see me for me, look at my face first, and not my huge chest. However, when it all comes down to it, it's a decision that YOU and ONLY YOU need to make. There are always risks with everything, but if it seems worth it to you, then you should go for it. If you have any questions or concerns or anything, don't hesitate for a second to message me!
